Embedded on capital programs since 2012. These are selected engagements — the ones where the stakes were high, the problems were real, and the outcomes were measurable.
A major international contractor, operating as part of a joint venture, was responsible for Lines 1 and 2 of one of the world's largest urban rail programs — a multi-package, multi-contractor program spanning an entire capital city, delivered against a fixed national deadline.
Initial role was in procurement — specifically the purchase of long-lead MEPF equipment critical to the program's construction schedule. Getting those packages right early was essential; delays in long-lead procurement have a way of compressing every downstream activity.
Subsequently transitioned into the Contracts team, supporting commercial management through the construction services phase. That shift put us at the interface between the delivery contractors and the JV's commercial obligations — managing variations, maintaining contract discipline, and supporting the resolution of commercial issues before they became program-level problems.

Part of the procurement team on a major coal export terminal capacity upgrade, with a primary focus on logistics, materials management, and laydown planning. The terminal remained operational throughout construction, which created significant interface risk between live port operations and the upgrade works. Coordinating materials flow and laydown areas in that environment required close coordination with both the operational and construction teams to keep the program on track.
Field procurement expediting role supporting critical commissioning works across multiple LNG projects. The focus was on ensuring materials and equipment arrived on site when they were needed — in a commissioning environment where delays to a single item can hold up an entire system. The role required close coordination with contractors, suppliers, and the project team to track, chase, and resolve supply chain issues in real time.
Part of the commercial team on a nationally significant greenfield airport program, supporting early earthworks, project setup, and a complex visitor centre build. The work involved navigating a large number of government and private delivery partners, each with distinct contractual arrangements. The visitor centre in particular presented its own commercial and delivery complexity — a high-profile, architecturally driven build within a much larger program environment.
Multi-year capital project management across several Queensland coal mining operations. Sustaining capital programs run continuously alongside production, compete for the same resources, and require consistent commercial discipline to prevent scope creep and cost overrun. Work covered project governance, contractor administration, and delivery assurance across mine development, infrastructure upgrades, and processing facility expansions over an extended engagement period.
Commercial advisory role administering the head contracts on a $2 billion utility-scale battery energy storage program for a large Queensland energy generator. The role was execution-focused — administering existing contracts for Balance of Plant works and supporting the procurement of major electrical and BESS packages. BESS programs at this scale are still relatively new territory, and the commercial frameworks and risk allocation structures are less settled than conventional infrastructure.
Front-end procurement role on a Queensland wind farm development, focused on major packages through the early project phases. Wind farm procurement involves long-lead equipment, complex supply chains, and commercial structures that need to be right before construction begins — mistakes made in procurement are expensive to correct once the construction window opens. The work focused on getting those foundations in place.
If the work here resonates with what you're facing, the next step is a 30-minute conversation. No deck, no proposal. Just a direct discussion about your program and whether there's a fit.
